TERMS OF BUSINESS
RECEPTION HOURS:
Monday to Sunday 8am - 8pm. If you will be arriving outside our reception hours, please advise so you can be informed of our late check-in procedure. For non-contact check ins, payment is processed from the supplied credit card on file or as agreed during booking. Christmas Day our reception is closed all day, Check-Ins are by arrangement.
CHECK IN: Check In is available from 2pm on the day of arrival. Check Out time is 10am on the day of departure. Early check-in and /or late check-out are by arrangement only – and subject to availability. This may incur additional charges depending on the time requested.
CREDIT CARD GUARANTEES AND PAYMENT: For all bookings, we require valid Credit Card details at the time of booking. Full bookings costs will be processed prior to your arrival up to 48 hours in advance once the booking is within the 48 hour no cancellation period, unless otherwise arranged. Please ensure your account has sufficient funds to cover this amount, if a card is declined, we reserve the right to cancel your booking. Therefore, where a card is declined, and we are unable to contact you, your booking will be cancelled, and the room will be made available to other potential guests. TARIFFS: All rates quoted are on a per night basis and are including GST of 15%. All rates quoted are non-commissionable rates.
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: Cancellations up to 48 hours before the booked date incur no fee. Thereafter, if a booking is cancelled with less than 48 hours' the total amount of booking will be charged. Christmas/New Year Bookings: 22nd December – 6th February: 14-day cancellation applies, Cancellations with less than 14 days’ notice may result in the total amount for the booked accommodation being charged. Group Bookings of 3 or more units the cancellation period is 14 days with a 50% non-refundable deposit required to secure the booking. If a group books on-line a 50% deposit may be requested to secure the booking. If any booking results in a "No Show" the Credit Card will be charged for the total amount.
CHANGES TO RESERVATION: Any change in the term of the reservation will be treated as a new booking and additional charges may apply. Any extension to a booking is subject to availability of rooms. Earlier departure than the reserved date may not result in a refund unless management approve and are able to resell the booked accommodation at short notice.
PET POLICY: We charge a further $25 per stay for the privilege of bringing your pet with you Pets are not to be on any of our furniture including the beds. Please bring their own beds/blankets. Please bring your pets bowls for feeding Further charges will apply if we are required to do any extra-ordinary cleaning as a result of your stay
ELECTRIC VEHICLES, BIKES, SCOOTERS & BATTERIES If you are driving an Electric vehicle or bike it is important that you read these conditions below: Unfortunately charging cables are not permitted to be plugged into our rooms for charging Electric bikes (or any bikes) are not to permitted to be stored in our rooms (please ask if you would like us to store these in our garage) Batteries for your eScooter / eBike or are not permitted to be stored in your rooms Doing any of the above has been identified as a fire risk and our insurance will not cover any fire or damage that may result from doing any of the above.
FORCE MAJEURE: ASURE Kaimai View Motel will not be in any breach of this agreement or in any way liable, if it is prevented from complying with the supply of accommodation and other related services by reason of Act of God, Act of Public Enemy, War, Earthquake, Riot, Fire, Storm, Flood, Explosion, Compliance with any Law of Government Restraint Order, Rule Regulations, Strikes, Lock Outs or any other cause not reasonably within the control of the motel.
