A vehicle track enters the esplanade  reserve and runs along the spit to a fence. Walk or drive to this point then follow the beach to the end of the sandspit for great views of the harbour and birdlife. Please take care not to disturb estuary wildlife.

Retrace your steps or explore the grove of trees on your return.
